In addition to creating and running EllenBard.com, Ellen continues to work within the industry as an independent assessment and development professional, and puts her 13 years’ of management consultancy experience to good use with clients in countries in Europe, the Middle East, and South East Asia.
To get in touch about working with her in this capacity, please email to discuss how we can work together.
With 13 years’ consultancy experience working with some of the largest FTSE 250 and Fortune 500 Global organisations, Ellen Bard is passionate about ensuring people get the most from their lives at work and at home, particularly in a world where the boundary between work and leisure is harder to see.
She is the founder of EllenBard.com, a website that contributes simple but effective ideas, shared with heart, around personal development to her readership, and blends her weight of knowledge and the track-record of a highly qualified, HPC Registered and Chartered Occupational/Organisational Psychologist, with her life experiences as a global traveller.
As a manager for a number of years, Ellen has been able to try out all kinds of developmental activities on her cautious but willing team members. She has published papers and spoken on topics including values in the workplace, engagement, candidate experience in recruitment, psychometric tools, generation Y, and employer branding. She has been featured in the Financial Times and has appeared on Woman’s Hour on Radio 4, as well as contributing guest posts to the hugely successful website Tiny Buddha.
She has worked with clients including Vodafone, Barclays, Marks & Spencer, the John Lewis Partnership, BT, Diageo and American Express. Ellen is currently based in Thailand, and in her free time, she likes to twist her body into strange positions and to dodge kicks and punches. That’s not (necessarily) management – that’s Yoga and Krav Maga.
